About Lourdes & the Switch
Lourdes & the Switch
Collaboration. If one word was needed to describe Lourdes & the Switch, it would be collaboration. Collaboration on a musical expression from four individuals from four separate walks of life who found a common musical bond on a rock in the Caribbean.
Lourdes, a singer from the Phillipines and Nathan, a bassist from Ireland, started the band and have played with many stellar local musicians throughout the years. Now with John, a guitarist from Myrtle Beach and Ryan, a drummer from Maryland, the band is continuing to hone their sound and performing live throughout the Virgin Islands fine-tuning their own musical voice.
Lourdes & the Switch have found themselves ever evolving, moving forward musically. A mix of soulful pop & indie rock with a feel good island vibe, the band is honing their sound with each live show and pushing themselves in their own direction.
